The Rockland, Maine navigation light sits at the end of this 3/4 mile long breakwater wall that was constructed in 1899 by the US Army Corp of Engineers. Care must be exercised when shooting at this location, as ultra-high tides can render the middle section of the breakwater impassable.

Photography has been an interest of mine for decades, starting with a basic Minolta SRT101 film camera that accompanied me into the back country of the Sierra Nevada.
